Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Linden: Police

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Linden on Monday, Oct. 2 authorities said.

The victim, who has not been identified, was crossing E. St. George Avenue from the Roselle Street side when he was struck by an SUV traveling eastbound, Linden police said.

The victim was transported to Trinitas Regional Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced deceased, police said. The occupants of the SUV were not injured in the crash and are cooperating with the investigation, police said
